The Division has completed its review of the 1992 AHR for Mine 1, Mine 2, and Eckman
Park. Please respond to the questions as appropriate within 60 days of receipt of this letter.
General Comments and Errors/Omissions
Some items are identical to concerns outlined in the Foidel Creek AHR for
monitoring sites which are shared. They are as follows:
a) Figure 13 plot shows exactly the same values for site 1002 and
006-AW-2, which is apparently incorrect.
bl 63.4 feet to water in well 006-AW-2?
c) Values on or around August 22, 1992 show an apparent doubling of
two separate value throughout the report.
d) Site 307 elevation does not match between the data sheet and
Table 1.
e) Site 8 elevation values also do not agree between all sources.
2. The text says all Mine 2 ponds are in the Fish Creek drainage, yet Pond K drains
to Foidel Creek. Please correct this information.
3. Please refer to the October 29, 1992 CYCC response to the Division's review of
the 1991 AHR. Questions a) and b) under General Comments were not
corrected as stated in your response.

STATE OF COLORADO
4. Site 109 discharge meter read 9,658,964 on April 22, 1991, 10,859,952 on
May 14, 1991 and 12,368,842 on June 20, 1991 , yet Pond D supposedly
showed no discharge over this period. Please explain in detail.
