Analysis that have not been received will be forwarded to you as I receive them. The NANO/RO water treatment plant operated intermittently during the month. A total of 14,547,100 gallons of water was treated and discharged into Rito Seco during the month of February. Work continued on the stormwater diversion on Waste Rock "C" and the project is approximately 90% complete. All surface water stations were inspected and RS-4 and RS-6 were found to be dry. Vacuum on the lysimeters was verified and no water was present to sample. When we checked the piezometers on the main embankment of the tailings impoundment on 2/25/00, the piezometers were dry or contained below 12 inches of water. The two west pit piezometers were measured for depth to water on 2/28/00, with the following result: BF-1 was 24.12 ft and BF-2 was 28.27 ft. T tie other piezometers in the West "Aine Brea v.~ere olso checked with the following result: PW-1 was 25.62 ft, PW-2 was 25.90 ft, PW-3 was 33.90 ft and PW-4 was 30.51 ft. The underdrain was measured at approximately 29 gpm. The collection pond's leak detection system was frozen and we were unable to sample. The seeps were found to by dry on February O8, 2000. A total of 274,400 gallons of wafer was pumped from the evaporation system collection pond to the tailings impoundment. This was done very early in the month and it has not been necessary since.
