The Division finds the 1995 Annual Reclamation Report to be <br />acceptable, <br />2. The surface water and groundwater data contained in the 1995 <br />Annual Hydrologic Report shows no abnormalities with previous <br />monitoring data, and no water quality compliance limitations <br />were exceeded, <br />3. The surface water and groundwater monitoring results support <br />the Probable Hydrologic Consequences section of the permit <br />application, <br />4. Although the downgradient groundwater well, Edna's well TR- <br />1.5, showed a higher specific conductance than that in the <br />Apex upgradient groundwater site, the difference is probably <br />because of Edna mine site influences rather than Apex minesite <br />influences. Apex has agreed to drill a downgradient <br />groundwater well closer to the Apex minesite, so that the Edna <br />well TR-1.5 would no longer be used by Apex for monitoring. <br />5. Apex has agreed to reopen the upstream alluvial well for <br />groundwater monitoring. <br />6. On future pond inspection reports, please provide a P.E. stamp <br />on the submittal. <br />7. As a reminder, the pond inspection reports need to be <br />
