We submit the following information for your considera-
tion:
1. The number of acres affected during 1984 are approximately 10.
2. LJe have not reclaimed any acreage.
3. We have contacted the State Soil Conservation Office out of Longmont
and have received their recommendations and the necessary seeding
application. As soon as this work is completed, all of the necessary
planting information will be forwarded to you.
4. 4Je estimate an additional 10 acres of land to be affected during the
1985 calendar year.
41e are in the process of trying to develop our first recreational lake facility.
This lake must be at least .4 of a mile long and .2 of a mile ~.~ide. This siza
of lake, of course, involved substantial amounts of gravel removal and topsoil
replacement. Lde have, therefore, been working toward this end result; however
because of the magnitude of the area involved, nothing has been totally re-
claimed. Soils have been placed in strategic areas to permit his reclamation;
however, until all of the gravel materials are extracted, these stockpiles must
remain in place. flew areas that are finished to grade will be revegetated
prior to spring.
lJe are presently examining other possibilities of rehabilitation and, more
particularly, the possibility of a golf course. Contacts along this line have
been made; however, no definite plan has been formulated.
