Long <br />RE: 2000 Annual Reclamation Report, I)eserado Mine Divi:ion Director <br />Permit No. C-1981-018 <br />Dear Mr. Wanstedt <br />This letter is to aclmowledge the Division's receipt of the 2000 Annual Reclamation Report. The <br />planting/treatmen[ specifications and revegetation survey reports submitted with the report were thorough <br />and well documented. However, we are requesting that certain additional information be provided, in order <br />for us to comply with recently modified OSM reporting requirements. in addition to the year 2000 <br />acreages by category, please amend the form to indicate cumulative total acreage for long-term mining or <br />reclamation facilities. Also, 132.5 acres is listed for "Number of Acres Seeded or Planted for last 10 years <br />or more", but this appears to represent total cumulative final tevegetated acreage. Please amend the form to <br />list the acreage which was perroanenQy revegetated 10 or more years ago. Finally, Rule 2.04.13(f) <br />specifies that the report indicate the location, number of acres and date of planting for all previously <br />revegetated areas.
