' ;~;~-cP-°k1o <br />FOR: Jim Kiger <br />West Pit Fill Construction Report <br />January 14,1998 <br />During the quarter beginning October 1, 1997 and ending December 31, <br />1997, I inspected the area in which the West Pit Excess Spoil Fill is being <br />constructed. The purpose of these inspections was to inspect the areas being <br />dumped to final grade on the 7200, 7250, 7275 and 7300 elevations; inspect the <br />sloping and re-contouring taking place between the 7200 and 7300 elevations; <br />inspect the topsoil replacement taking place between the 7200 and 7300 <br />elevations; inspect the fill surface for vegetative efforts; inspect the fill <br />for areas of water seepage or surface drainage and to satisfy the requirements <br />of CDMG. Rule 4.09.1 (lla). <br />During the quarter dumping, re-contouring and topsoiling took place <br />between the 7200 and 7300 elevations on the north east half of the fill. (See <br />Photographs 116 -118) <br />Attached to this report are my certification that all construction <br />requirements have been met thus far in constructing the West Pit Excess Fill. <br />~~-/ <br />Stephen R.
