The effective date of all information <br />in this report is March 16, 2004. Please refer to the attached <br />Annual Report Map for the location of areas discussed in this <br />report. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and <br />it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. This 83.06 acres ± <br />pit is not a phased operation and the current bond is $70,000.00. <br />We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report <br />requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regula- <br />tions. <br />(1) No new lands have been disturbed during the last year, we <br />continued to remove material stockpiled in previous years <br />and mined an additional 1.69 ac. ± area on the west side of <br />the plant site area (hatched \\\) We have also been <br />collecting sloping material for use when rebuilding the <br />mined area around the lake. This material is stockpiled <br />along the east side of the plant site. It will be used <br />when the unmined area is complete and as material along the <br />north slope is placed to complete those slopes. While the <br />lake was down we mined material from off the floor of the <br />lake. <br />(2) No reclamation was required last year, but the construction <br />of the highway has effectively reclaimed that area. <br />Additional sections of bank sloping was completed this year <br />on the southwest side of the lake area and island was built <br />to protect the beach owned by our neighbors from wind <br />erosion. A temporary divider was built in the northern part <br />of the site. This was done with sloping material because <br />
