The water samples were <br />analyzed for cyanide, total metals, and fluoride as outlined in paragraph 26 of Battle <br />Mountain s Water Decree, Case No. 89CW32. The concentrations of all constituents are <br />below the Colorado Drinking Water Standards. <br />The three pairs of lysimeters located west of the tailings disposal area were checked in <br />Janaury. All lysimeters were dry. <br />The next sampling event will take place in July 1997.
