Please respond to each issue as <br />appropriate within thirty days of receipt of this letter. <br />General Comments <br />1. Please respond to item A. from the December 12, 1994 Division <br />letter with regard to the 1993 AHR for Mine No. 3. <br />2. An overall improvement in report quality and monitoring <br />frequency compliance is noted. <br />Monitoring Freouencv <br />1. The flow data for Site 900 appears to be incorrect (30-50 <br />cfs). Please correct and re-submit as appropriate. <br />Water ouality and ouantity Review <br />Groundwater <br />Water levels have recovered to approximate pre-mining levels <br />in the Wadge overburden as evidenced by wells 008-77-58 and <br />008-79-6. <br />Wel <br />008-77-58 <br />008-79-6 <br />1980 level <br />6705 ft. <br />6647 ft. <br />1995 level <br />6710 ft. <br />6660 ft. <br />Total dissolved solids values measured are currently close to <br />the 1023 mg/1 baseline mean value for the Wadge overburden. <br />
