For the first quarter, no water quality samples were required.
Flaw measurements were attempted during the last week of March (normal sampling time for the quarter),
however, the flow was too swift to wade with a current meter because of spring runoff. Also, no discharges
occurred [rom any of the sediment ponds at the mine during the quarter. Flow and water chemistry data will
be collected for the second quarter during the last week of June.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to wn[act Mr. Mike Keegan at Kaiser or give
me a call.
Sincerely,
~~ ~~
Jerry Kablitz
Project Manager
cc: Mike Keegan -Chimney Rock Mine
Gerry Fawcett -Kaiser
J K/ca
5990 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. Suite 104 Englewood, CO 80111
(303) 850.0930 Fax (303) 721-9298
