As previously discussed, attempts were made to incorporate requested changes into the previously submitted 1991 Water Year AHR, but a number of items were not addressed due to the time constraints involved. Those items not addressed during the 1991 report will be incorporated into the 1992 AHR as agreed upon. Each MLRD concern is stated, response. followed immediately by CYCC's MLRD Concern General Comments The introduction is somewhat confusing. It reads "The surface mine, which was activated between 1974 and 1980, was called Mine No. 3. It was faced up in a Mine No.3 highwall." It seems some discussion is missing between these two sentences. Also, the items addressed in the general comments section from our review of the 1990 AHR for Mine 3 dated August 19, 1991 were not addressed in the 1991 AHR. overall, the report is well organized and the monitoring plan is clearly indicated in Table 1 and Table 2. CYCC Response There is indeed a sentence missing from the introduction. The missing sentence should read " An underground mine was also initiated during this period, and was called the Middle Creek Mine." This sentence will be re-inserted into the text of the 1992 AHR submittal. The lack of comment incorporation into the 1991 AHR has already been addressed.
