As you are aware, this operation has
been under "Notice of Temporary Cessation" since August 8, 1980. No
new surface disturbance has occurred since the annual report of 1987.
Surface disturbance remains the same as originally permitted; however,
two of the vent hole areas permitted have not been utilized (see map).
As all permitted acreage is utilized during operation, reclamation of
this property cannot begin until the mine is closed. No new surface
disturbance is anticipated in the near future.
Routine surveillance and maintenance of the area is being carried out.
If you have any questions, please contact me at our Nucla office.
Sincerely,
W.
