The color map is especially helpful and very easily read. Your efforts have
produced one of the most comprehensive subsidence monitoring data bases in Colorado.
Stations N-1 and N-3 03/13/96 and 06/28/96 elevation data (supplemental sheets, Page 1)
appears to have been transposed. Please confirm. Stations N-1, N-2 and N-3 09/27/96 data does
no[ correlate with other data for the same stations. Please explain, or correct by submittal of a
revised page. The Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) is not in possession of 03/13/96
survey data for Stations C-5. through C-13 and D-O1 through D-12, and 09/28/96 survey data for
Stations B-O1 through B-08, B-O1 through B-16, J-1 through J-21, and S-1 through S-8. Please
provide the missing information. Please verify the 7047.9 elevation of J-7 of 6/29/96 and the -
0.9 foot subsidence of the Current Period.
The initial assessment of the Division is that a reduction in monitoring is watranted. In this
regard, however, the Division requests that you consider retention of the subsidence monitoring
monuments (for a final survey in anticipation of Phase III Bond Release), and [o maintain an
annual survey of Stations H-1, H-2, and F1-3 (public exposure within the rights-of-way of
Highway 13). Current regulatory procedure [Rule 1.04(136)] is to recognize/authorize reductions
in environmental monitoring by a Technical Revision. With regard [o changes (terminations and
