Memo - 2006 Annual Hydrology Report
I have completed my review of the above-referenced report. The report fulfilled the
operator's requirement to file an annual hydrology report for 2006.

The only monitoring required at the mine is an annual sampling of surface water in North
Thompson Creek, upstream and downstream from the mine. The required sampling was
completed in 2006 and indicated compliance with water quality standards and no adverse
impacts to the hydrologic balance. The sample results were consistent with the impacts
predicted in the probable hydrologic consequences section of the permit application. I
have no adequacy comments for the mine operator.
