PIT NAME: Shipps

OPERATOR: Division of Highway - State of Colorado
SUBSTANCE MINED: Sand and Gravel
DATE: December 23, 1983
M.L.R. PERMIT NO.: 78-102
Pursuant to the requirements stated in Section 1.62 and
Section 3.4 of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Board, we are submitting the following infor-
mation on our permitted area known as the Shipps Pit.
During the past year we mined approximately 3,900 tons
of sand and gravel. We currently have stockpiles in the
affected area.
We have done no major reclamation in the area and plan
to do only routine clean-up and minor grading after each
operation. Then prior to our final move-out we will do the
final reclamation work.
At the present time we are not certain when the next
operation will commence, however, total time of operations will
probably be less than 180 days per year.
`"
RECEIVED
JAN 4194

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTINUE
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
Colo. Dept. of Natural Resources
