Manpower availability restricts the ability to gather sane
information,
1. The flow rates from the Stevens C,ulch water line at present can only be
estimated from tank levels. The necessary meter is not in place to allow
accurate verification,
2. If time allows, an estimate of the volume of standing water, compared
with the surface area and evaporative rate will be formulated.
In response to your questions about the report,
1. It has not been determined that the pools of water throughout the
mine are homogeneous in the chemical analysis sense (ph, TDS, TS S, Ec),
These tests have not been done since they have not been required by any
agency.
2. The areas marked with diagonal lines represent the buffer zones to he
left under East Roatcap Creek and Stevens C,ulch, Diagonal lines represent
areas of less than 600' overburden, Dots and hyphens represent that area
between 600 and 800 feet of overburden, Written description is found (pages
attached) under 2.05.6, Volume 1, Orchard Valley Mine and 2.05.06,
Vol une 1, Orchard Valley West Mine. A map with these descriptions has
also been attached for your convenience,
