Stevens,
RECEIVED
Division of Minerals ,g Geology
Our firm, G. Verkaik & Associates, Inc. Engineers, designed and prepared construction documentation
for storm water control structures for the muting operations of
T.H.E. Aggregate Sotuce in Canon City, Colorado.
At the request of Mc Edward Tezak .tr. 1 have made an inspection of the storm water control stnuctures
on February 17, 1998 and following are my findings.
Verification of the final stntctures and drainage channels, including rip-rap at locations where
erosion control was required, demonstrated that the structures as designed were completed.
The majority of the detention and retention stn~ctures exceeded our requirements n size
resulting in higher capacities than originally designed.
2. From my observations of the entire storm control area, it is my opinion that in the event of a
major storm, the system will function properly for which it was designed.
If any additional information is required, please contact the tmdersigned.
Sincerely,
G.
