II IIIIIIIIIIIII III
sss
NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTINUE
PIT NAME: State Land - Jensen
OPERATOR: Colorado Department of Highways
SUBSTANCE MINED: Sand and Gravel
DATE: March 30, 1984
M.L.R. PERMIT NO.: -2dH=~- Sf3-So
Pursuant to the requirements stated in Section 1.62
and Section 3.4 of the Rules and Regulations of the
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, we are
submitting the following information on our permitted
area known as the State Land - Jensen Pit.
We removed approximately 32,000 tons of material from
the pit during the past year. Approximately 7 acres
of the permitted area was disturbed and utilized as
pit area, plant area, stockpile area, or haul road
or parking area.
This disturbed area has been reclaimed and we are
currently waiting for the vegetation to become estab-
lished. However, it is probable that portions of
these reclaimed areas will be disturbed by future
operations. If this should occur we would again reclaim
such disturbances.
At the present time we are not sure when we will be
working in the pit. However, total time of operation
will probably be less than 180 days per year.
~~,
,~,
RECEIVED
APR ~ 9 1984
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
Colo. Dept. of Natural Resources
