Gunnis ower ste Pile Monitoring Data Report Supplemental <br />spouse (Permit #C-80-007) <br />West Elk Coal Company's supplemental response to my concerns regarding the <br />status of slope stability monument #S B3 at their lower waste pile resolves my <br />earlier concern. I was concerned because the survey data suggested that the <br />monument had declined in elevation by 0.92 feet. West Elk observes that the <br />monument had been damaged and the apparent 0.92 foot drop in elevation <br />reflects the fact that the survey data listed is that of the ground elevation <br />next to the monument. <br />I recommend that you require West Elk to install a <br />original monument #SB3.
