SJickham; <br />As yov are aware, action by the Colorado dined ].and Reclamation Board at <br />its April 21-22, 1982 meeting resulted in [he following action: <br />It was MOVED that the Board assess a $10,000 civil pepalty with <br />$9,000 to be suspended if permits are approved by the Board on <br />the ].10 applications at the June Eoard Meeting and on the 112 <br />application at the July Eoard Meeting, with the $1,000 unsuspended <br />portion of the fime to be paid before the May Eoard Meeting. <br />SECONDED and PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />It was MOVED that the P10TION BE ~'u~(ENDED to delay the payment of <br />the unsuspended $1,000 and that the Board, at the June Board <br />Meeting, will make a determination. as to when the $1,000 <br />unsuspended civil p=_nalty should be paid depending on remedial <br />reclamation work on unpermitted ]ands. SECONDED and PASSED <br />UNANIMOUSLY. <br />It was D10VED-that the cease anddcsist order be lifted from the <br />Beattie 1'it to allow the County to operate to satisfy the <br />hazardous road conditions in Kit Carson County. SECONDED and <br />PASSED U[ANIMOUSLY. <br />I{was AtOVED that the ceasz and desist order be lifted from the <br />"Sim and Bob Ostroslci Pit" to allow the County to operate to <br />satisfy the hazardous road conditions in tha District of the <br />County.
