AXELSON <br />Thank you for your letter of February 15, 1977, stating <br />your intent to operate a sand and gravel plant near Delta, <br />Colorado, Please be advised that Delta County does not have <br />a firm zoning resolution in effect at this time. Therefore, <br />your operation would not be in violation of any resolution <br />or ordinance concerning zoning. The Delta County Commissioners <br />do not have any objection to you establishing and operating a <br />plant of this type in Delta County as long as all applicable <br />Federal, State, and Local requirements are met. <br />We would like to draw your attention to the existing <br />paved road leading into your proposed location. This road <br />has an unstable base and continuous heavy load traffic would <br />probably cause early failure along this route. In this case <br />the County would expect some assistance from your firm in re- <br />pairing or rebuilding this section of road, <br />We would appreciate being further advised of your progress <br />from time to time.
