We will not mine or
extend the highwall closer than seventy (70) feet to the northeast perimeter of the
affected area which will allow fifty (50) feet for backfilling and twenty (20) feet for
topsoil stockpiles.
RECLAMATION PLAN
We agree to construct the erosion resistant channels in the 3H:1 V reclaimed slopes as
recommended in your letter dated September 8, 1995 and as were used to calculate the
bond instead of the upland diversions proposed in our adequacy letter dated August 31,
1995.
Due to the fact that we are not going to construct the upland diversion ditches, it will not
be necessary to allow an additional sixteen (16) feet for adequate clearance for cut and
fill method of backfilling the highwall.
Please contact me ifyou have any additional questions.
Very truly yours,
~~~tl~&e~,~
Kathy Weber
Weber Sand & Gravel
