Long <br /> Drvmon Director <br />RE: Soaring Eagle Gravel Pit, File No. M-99-025, Receipt of Comment to Application <br />Dear Mr. Settle: <br />The enclosed public comment letter, responding to the above captioned gravel pit application, was <br />received by DMG within the designated public comment period. Please provide a written <br />response, indicating how you wish to address the comments stated in the April 12, 1999 letter <br />from the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOWI• <br />Grand Junction Pipe and Supply is commended for proposing apost-mining land use designated as <br />wildlife habitat. With this in mind, DMG encourages you to incorporate the DOW <br />recommendations, and detailed implementation specifications, into the proposed mining and <br />reclamation plans.
