Our
responses are again in the same order as your comments/concerns.
The applicant is aware of the current regulations regazding the excavation and filling of
wetlands. Appropriate permits will be obtained for regulated impacts to wetlands.
The operator will not expose groundwater prior to obtaining the appropriate permits from
the Office of the State Engineer.
Copies of the ownership change information for wells #6 and #7 were faxed to your
office on September 13, 1999. Another set is included herein.
4. The following information is in response to your comments regazding the Slope Stability
Study conducted for this application:
The depth of the dewatering trench is approximately two feet below the bedrock/gravel
interface, This depth vazies slightly from the upgradient end to the downgradient end to
make sure that water flows downhill. The width of the dewatering trench is
approximately 42 inches. This is the width of the back-hoe bucket used for excavation.
The dewatering trench distance from the face of the excavation is dependant on the width
of the excavation. ,
h
f 1990 Gant Sheer, Sane 304 • Deavey Colorado 80233 • (30352-6611 • Faa (303152-2759
