Of
this, about five (5) Acres will be used for access roads and
RECLAMATION COSTS
other improved areas. As outlined in the mining plan, the
final shaping and placing of topsoil will take place during
the mining operation.
The operator has received estimates of about $200.00 per Acre
to fertilize and seed the area. It is anticipated that "wind
break" trees and other seedlings will be obtained from the
Soil Conservation Service to develop the required plantings.
We have suggested that these seedlings could be obtained now
and planted adjacent to Area B where they would receive
irrigation and have 5 to 10 years growth prior to replanting
in their final locations. On this basis, it is estimated
from $7500.00 to $10,000.00 will be required for the revege-
tation and planting on the site.
