Alessi and Associates, Inc.
814 Main Street
Canon City, Colorado 81212
RE: Carestia Pit - Our file no. 81-36
Dear Mr. Giordano:
I have received and reviewed your reply to my adequacy letter of March
10th. I now find that the permit application is adequate for Board
consideration during the March 25-26 meeting. I plan to recommend that
the Board approve the application with bond set at $2,500.00. My pre-
sentation to the Board will be a written one. Therefore, you will not
need to be present at the meeting. I will inform you as to the Board's
decision following the meeting.
1'ou will note that I have enclosed the $2,500.00 bond form with this
letter (while retaining the actual certificate of deposit in our files}.
On page one I added the permit number, 81-36 and the C.D. number,
573072, where appropriate. The reason that I have returned the form is to
be found on pages 5 and 6. Our Attorney General's Representative has
said that the form must be signed by the operator on page 5 where the
signature of the notary presently appears. The seal mentioned on this
page is to be the company seal (if any). Mr. Carestia should sign,
therefore, on page 5. The signature of Mr. Carestia should be notarized
at the top of page 6 (using the blanks provided for that purpose). I
have also enclosed a new page 5 for insertion into the form. Upon receipt
of the corrected bond and Board approval of the permit application, the
mining and reclamation permit will be issued. If you have any questions
in this matter, please call me.
Sincerely,
Mark S. Loye
Reclamation Specialist
Enclosures
CERTIFIED MAIL N0.
