Dear Mr. Norris:
Listed below are adequacy review comments on [he above-captioned 110c Limited Impact
application. The decision date for your application is scheduled for August 2, 1999. Therefore, I
would appreciate a response from you on or before August 2, 1999. Upon your request, the
decision date may be extended is additional time is needed to respond to the comments listed
below. Please be advised that your application may be deemed inadequate and may be denied on
August 2, 1999 unless the following adequacy review items aze addressed to the satisfaction of
the Division.
1. EXHIBIT A -Site Plan Maa
Please revise the site plan map to include ttle..names of ail imt:tediately adjacent surface owners
of record.
2. EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan
As required by Rule 6.3.3(d), please specify the thickness of deposit to be mined. If unkown, you
may provide a range of thickness to be removed. Also, you may specify whether only one (1)
layer or several or more layers of sandstone will be removed.
3. EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan
As required by Rule 6.3.3(f), please specify the dimensions of any significant disturbances to the
land surface such as pit excavations, mine benches, stockpiles, staging azeas, waste rock disposal
areas, etc. In particulaz, you should describe the dimensions (width & height) of existing pits to
be re-disturbed and the dimensions to be expected upon maximum pit disturbance. Attached is
an example provided from a recently permitted, similar quarry operation.
4. EXHIBIT C - Mining? Plan
As required by Rule 6.3.3(m), please specify whether the sandstone will be processed on site, ie:
will the sandstone be cut, sorted, or stacked on site?
