ADCO CONSULTING
May 6, 1999
Mr. Thomas Schreiner, Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Permit # M-99-034
Legal Publication
Proof of Certified Mailed Notices
Changes in Application Copy in Clerk and Recorder's Office
Mr. Schreiner:
On the above reference permit application attached are:
Proof of Legal Publication
CHEROKEE IM/FSTMENTS INC.
2090 EAST 104TH A4ENUE. SUTE 305
THORNTON. COLORADO 80233
13031 450-2204
RECEIVED
MAY 10 1999
.,r bsinerals & Geology
Mr. Mount's letter of acceptance of the application was dated March 26, even though his date
of acceptance in the letter was stated as March 19. I got the letter on March 28 by calling
Barb Chiapone and having her leave me a copy to pick-up, and coincidentally this is the same
date CAMAS received the letter. The bottom line is that by the time I got the letter, the next
date of publication was April 8, when I started the 4 consecutive publications leading to a
decision of May 19. If this delays the decision date by a week or two, because I didn't publish
within ] 0 days of acceptance, then so be it, but I couldn't have published any faster than I did.
Proof of Certified Mailed Notices
Filing Changes in Clerk and Recorder's Office
A. On page 1 in Exhibit C the acreage number (9.4 acres) of the excess land that was
being purchased to assemble the Plant Site, but wasn't in the Plant Site or being
included in the permit boundary, was omitted. It really doesn't make any difference
to the permit application, since it was outside the permit boundaries, but I added the
left out acreage on this page.
B. Two of the address on page 3 of Exhibit O were changed as a result of the mailings
when changes of addresses were discovered. The mailings were remailed to the
correct address, and I changed the addresses on this page of this Exhibit.
In both cases, I replaced the pages in the application booklet in the Clerk and Recorders
Office, and had the two changed pages date stamped as proof that I did make these changes
in the copy in the Clerk and Recorders Office.
