EOn6 <br />Mining Operation, affecting LBSS than 10 acres end extracting LHSS than DiasanDi,«,a <br />70,000 tone of mineral, Overburden or combination of the two per calendar year. <br />If you plan to conduct a mining operation which meets these criteria, please follow the <br />instructions provided in this package, in the Mineral Rules and Regulations, and in the Mined <br />Land Reclamation Act as required. Please see Rule 1.1(12) for the definition of "Designated <br />Mining" operation. <br />Filiaa Requirements: <br />The Mineral Rules and Regulations (the Mined Land Reclamation Act, Section 34-32-101, <br />pr~ Bea., C.R.S., and 2 CCR 407-1) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Soard (the "Boards) <br />regulate the permitting, operatignal and reclamation requirements for all non-coal mining <br />operations in Colorado. It is your obligation to coaq~ly with the Act and Regulations. You <br />aze encouraged to obtain and review a copy of the Rules, available for 58.00 from the <br />Division of Hinerals and Geology {the ^Office^). In order to submit your application <br />properly, it is recommended that you review the Act and: <br />Rule 1-1 Definitions; <br />Rule 1.4 Application Review and Coaeideration Process; <br />Rule 1.5 Fees; <br />Rule 1.6 Fublic Notice Procedures; <br />Rule 3.1 Reclamation Performance Standards; <br />Rule 3.3.1 Operating without a Permit - Penalty; <br />Rule 4 Performance WaT+^A*+ties and Pinaacial Warrw„ties; <br />Rule 6 Permit Application Exhibit Requirements; <br />Rule 6.2 General Requirements of Exhibits; <br />Rule 6.3 Specific Permit Application 8xhibit Requirements; <br />Rule 6.4.19 Exhibit S (ae required); and <br />Aule 6.5 Geotechnical Stability Exhibit (as required). <br />To apply for a Reclamation Permit fora Limited impact Operation, one (1) signed and <br />notarized original and one ll) copy of the Limited Impact Operation (110(2)) Application <br />Form, two (2) copies of Exhibits A-J (required sections described in Rule 6), Addendum 1 - <br />Notice requirements (described in Rule 1.6.2(1)(b), an example of this notice is attached for <br />your use), any required sections of fixhibit 5 and Geote clinical Stability Exhibit, and an <br />application fee M[3ST be submitted to the Office. The thizty l30) day period for review of <br />the application and exhibits will NOT begin until all required information is submitted. The <br />Office will then review the submitted information for adequacy. <br />
