D. Von Engel n: <br />We have received your application for a 14ining & Reclamation Permit for your <br />surface mining operation in E1 Paso County. Our initial review indicates that <br />all preliminary items required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, <br />C.R.S. 34-32-101, et sec., have been submitted; thus your application has been <br />deemed complete. T1 comment and review time periods initiate from this date. <br />The tentative date for consideration of your application by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board is February 11, 1988. You should commence publication of a <br />notice of the filing of this application immediately (see enclosed notice <br />format). You must also mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of <br />surface rights of affected land and immediately adjacent land. You must <br />provide proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified Mail Return Receipt <br />Requested, to the MLR staff before your application can be considered by the <br />Board. You must also place a copy of this application for public review, Less <br />confidential items, with the E1 Paso County Cler* and Recorder. Any <br />subsequent changes or additions to the copies on file in our offices must also <br />be made in this local government copy. <br />THE STAFF IS REVIEWING YOUR APPLICATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS ADEQUATE TO <br />MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW. THIS REVIEW WILL BE COMPLETED AS WELL IN <br />ADYANCE OF THE SCHEDULED BOARD MEETING AS POSSIBLE, SO AS TO ALLOW SUFFICIENT <br />RESPONSE TIME. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Steven G.
