C.:
~,ili~iE~ !.~ °~0 RED LAwi.l IOtd
Again let me state that, although I realize the overload being carried
by the staff these days, it is my responsibility to protect the company's
legal rights.
I requested a prehearing conference on the Henderson application in
a letter dated October 14, 1977. Given an adjusted filing date of October 3,
1977, and according to rule 1.53, the prehearing conference must be held on
or before 45 days after the date of filing, i. e. November 17, 1977. Without
the prehearing conference, the company will not be supplied with a list of
deficiencies in the application (if any), and we could be headed toward a
fiasco similar to that experienced in [he Homestake situation.
I, therefore, again request a prehearing conference on the Henderson
application within the alloted time.
Sincerely,
Larry F!/ Brown,
Environmental Control Engineer
LFB:mb
xc: Mr. Joseph B.
