Attached is a draft copy of the revised Waste Management Contingency
Plan, which is contained in Appendix D of the Gilsonite Pit 112 Permit
Application. I have revised this document to include a groundwater
sampling plan and to address other concerns expressed during our telecom
the other day. Specifically, please see Sections 3.1 through 3.4 and
Table 2. Table 2 in particular, details more the various trigger and
response criteria for the monitoring. Refer to Map C-2 in the Permit
Application, or Figure 2 of the WMCP for referenced well locations.
Please review this to see if it satisfactorily addresses the DMG's
concerns, and forward any comments, or give me a call to discuss any
questions or additional concerns. I am trying to get this finalized by
Oct 8th, as I will be out Oct 10-14.
