Please bond the site using the parameters we have outlined in the permit. Hall-Irwin is <br />proposing to mine and reclaim the site concurrently. <br />2. Clarification: Hall-Irwin intends to use the overburden generated on this site as fill material <br />on other Hall-Irwin projects in the area. Overburden that is not used on other sites will be <br />sold. Hall-Irwin will commit [hat the maximum volume of overburden stockpiled on site at <br />any one time will be 168,000 cubic yards. <br />6.4.12 Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs <br />3. We did not receive a copy of your revised reclamation cos[. <br />6.4.19 Exhibit S -Permanent Man-Made Structures <br />4. Rocky Mountain Consultants. Inc. is in the process of preparing a Flood Hazard Development <br />Permit application to Weld County. We are also proceeding through the County's Use by <br />Special Review (USR) process. Weld County will require Hall-Irwin Corporation to have an <br />approved Flood Hazard Development before the USR can be recorded. Please note that we <br />are continuing to explore ways to protect the gas line. Other possible alternatives currently <br />include: mining the east wall of phase I when flooding is highly unlikely (i.e. October through <br />March) or installing [ce protection structures (see attached detail). Hall-Irwin will commit to <br />installing the necessary improvements to protect the gas line prior to disturbing Phase 2. <br />CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING PLANNING <br />
