The Division has received your letter of February 3, 2003 requesting that ieview af.the
above mentioned application be put on hold to explore, the possibility of expanding. the
proposed mining boundary. In response, the Division can grant an extension of up to'90
. days to explore. such possibility. In the event that the proposed mining boundazy is
expanded; the Division will consider such a change to be an amendment to.the.. .
application and permitting timeframes will be revised accordingly. Newspaper
publication and notification procedures will also need to be re-completed. Sirice your
application decision date is currently scheduled for April 21, 2003 the Division, can grant
an extension of up to July 21, 2003. However, you will need to submit a written waiver
of your right to a decision within 90 days on or before the current Apri121, 2003 decision
date. Upon receipt of yotu waiver, we can then grant you an extension until-July 21,
2003 to respond with a revised application.
