CO S 1601 <br />/DOc . nlq.,n is <br />Re: Receipt of 112 Hard RocWMetal Milting Reclamation Permit Application, Yankee Gulch Minerals Protect <br />File No. M-99-002 <br />Dear Mr. Nielsen: <br />On February 2, 1999, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Hard Rock/Metal Mining Reclamation <br />Permit apphcaaon for the Yankee Gilch Minerals Project, which is located in Rio Blanco County. All comment and review <br />periods began on February 2, 1999. The decision date for your application is scheduled for May 3, 1999. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the loclity of the <br />proposed mmmg operation once a week for four (4) consecutive wceks. Immediately after the fart publication, mail a copy <br />of the notice to all owners of record of surface rights and all owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the <br />boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice and mailings, such as CeRiiied Mail - Remra Receipt Requested mast be <br />,ubmitted to the Division of MineraU and Geology prior to the decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the <br />application on file in our office mast also be reflected in the public review copy which has been placed with the Rio Blanco <br />Cotmty Clerk and Reeorcler. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of the Act.
