'This
NOI is a revision of a NOI submitted on February 25, 1998 on behalf of Jtmiper Coal
C~~Y•
11re revised NOI is submitted on behalf of Cottonwood land Company (CLJL~, which is
an affiliate corr7pany of Juniper Coal Company (JCC}. Since many of the land use
agreements for the subject area have been made with Cottonwood Land Company, it was
considered expedient to submit this NOI under the auspices of CLC rather than JCC.
"Ihe morritnr well installation program descnbed here is smaller than the program
descnhed m the February 25"' submittal. it is anticipated that the alluvial mtmitor wells will
be installed in two or more phases, with d>is NOI pertaining to the first phase of the
program. The next phase will probably begin in Jtme of this year.
Please feel free to call me at (801) 539-0044 if there are any questions concerning the
NOi doctunen[ or the alluvial monitoring program in general.
Sincerely,
REJ/jm/kV2121
RECEIVED
MAR 1 g 1998
Division of Minerals 8 Geology
INC.
ce: Tom Penosky, Cottonwood Land Con7parzY
Calgary ~ Pitlshurgh ~ Calcutta
