We are therefore required t <br />Army Corps of Engineers asking. if our mining <br />special permit from your government agency. <br />Collins, Colorado, have <br />for the right to mine dirt, <br />o make contact with the U.S. <br />operation will require <br />The Three Bells mining will be open pit-strip mining; whereby top- <br />soil will be removed and used or stockpiled to be spread on unmined <br />land. Upon removing topsoil we will then remove all gravel to the depth <br />of shale. Me will not be removing materials from rivers. streams or <br />lakes and there will be no materials deposited in rivers, streams or <br />lakes. <br />Mr. James B. McArdle of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />visually - on site - Inspected the proposed area of mining and stated <br />that in his opinion there should be no need fora dredge and fill permit. <br />Please reply by mail at your earliest convenience as we are sche- <br />duled for hearing in February of this year.
