The conditions to the approval <br />are noted below: <br />1, A 100-foot wide undisturbed buffer shall be left between the pit and the <br />riverbank, as recommended by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. <br />2. All available topsoil shall be salvaged, stockpiled within the permit <br />boundary and away from active mining operations, and seeded with the <br />following broadcast stabilization seed mix: <br />Species % In Mix Rate, Lbs. PLS/Acre <br />Regreen iHybrid) 20 4.0 <br />Pubescent Wheatgrass 40 11.2 <br />Smooth Brome 40 11.2 <br />3. Pond side slopes shall be reclaimed at gradients no steeper than 4H:1V, <br />as recommended by the U.S, Soil Conservation Service. <br />4. Pond shorelines shall be left with irregularities and shoals to increase <br />shoreline extent, and the pond bottom shall be developed in an irregular <br />manner with islands, tree stumps, and large boulders to develop fish <br />cover and substrate for fish forage organis;ns, as recommended by the <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife. <br />5. After respreading topsoil, it should be tested for fertilization <br />requirements and fertilized as needed. <br />
