With assistance of
ford, 6a con & Davis, Utah consultants, we have developed a plan for slurry
transportation of the material to underground areas.
Enclosed is the application for permission to implement this system
at our mine site. As is outlined in the plan, the 41est Mine would be the
first location for operation. It would be expected to handle two years of
disposal and at the same time give us the ability to refine the system to the
best operating procedures.
We hope to be able to start using the system in the first part of
1980. We would therefore request your earliest approval.
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Bob
Johnson, Senior Mining Engineer.
Sincerely,
E: Peter Matthies
Yice President
EPM/bno
• Enclosure
A { l1 {{ I D I A g Y O I N O R T N W[!
