• iii iiiiiiiiiiiu iii • <br />999 <br />• EXHIBIT H <br />WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />Due to the amount of cropland disturbance associated with the proposed site, <br />wildlife habitat is limited. Critical species or habitats (i.e. sage grouse <br />dancing grounds, greater sandhill cranes, or black-footed ferrets) were not <br />observed on the site. There may be limited grazing of winter wheat by deer <br />or elk and occasional use by upland game birds, but this would be generally <br />restricted by snow or The availability of better habitat. <br />A sediment pond located on the east side of the proposed site could provide <br />water for big game, but there are many areas along migrational routes that <br />would have superior resources for big game.
