Waldron <br />This letter is sent~rsuant to your letter, dated August 27, 1996, <br />concerning Permit Application Adequacy Review. <br />Exhibit C - Mining Plan: <br />Need DMG to determine bond requirement for total backfill. If <br />bond is too high, Applicant and Landowner will consider filing <br />for a well permit with the State Engineer's Office. <br />Exhibit D - Backfill s Grading: <br />Narrative in Exhibit D is a typographical error. All slopes <br />will be no greater than 3H:1V. <br />Exhibit D - Revegetation: <br />Straw mulch will be applied at a rate of 4,000 pounds per <br />acre. Manure will be applied at 20 tons per acre. Six inches <br />of topsoil will be replaced on disturbed areas. <br />All revegetation will be according to NRCS recommendations. <br />Exhibit D - Reclamation Cost Estimate: <br />Reclamation to include additional ton of mulch per acre plus <br />fertilizer costs as well as topsoil replacement costs are <br />acknowledged. Total reclamation bond of $6925 is subject to <br />change pending the outcome of the State Engineer's Review. <br />(Please see response to Exhibit C - Mining Plan, above) <br />
