Mining will start in phase one, then phase two, phase three, phase five, moving
yazd azea to phase six, mining phase four, phase seven, phase six, and phase eight, phase six and
phase eight will share yazd azeas, limiting total disturbed areas to twenty three acres plus five
acres for portable hatching equipment for a total of twenty eight disturbed acres.
We will use a dozer to mine and slope all sides to a 3:1 slope, as mining progresses. We plan to
use loaders to mine all middle areas. Due to the cost of mining and material handling, I feel it is
necessary to bond for a high wall 500' in length and 20' in height.
It is our plan to periodically place portable asphalt and concrete batch plants on this property. At
this time we will place these portable plants in phase six. If in the future we decide to place a
permanent plant at this site it will be placed in phase six. We feel it is necessary to increase our
disturbed azea to twenty eight acres allowing five acres for the placement of portable hatching
equipment. If and when we place any permanent equipment at this site, we will file a technical
revision informing the division of all necessary information regazding concrete footings, concrete
slabs, and column sizes, and increase any necessary bonding. All equipment to be placed at this
site have attached Colorado Dept of Health Air Pollution Control Permits. We will file all
relocation notices upon approval of our reclamation perntit.
The scale will be a 80' pit scale with 12' x 20' x 6" concrete approaches. Upon demolition of the
house we will build a temporary 8'x 8' insulated scale house with 2"x 4"walls, metal siding and
metal roof.
