The Division has just received your letter dated June 8, 1994 concerning the proposed Spring Creek Gravel Pit.
Your letter did not provide sufficient information to determine whether or not a permit is necessary for the site.
Therefore, we have attached a permit application for Sand and Gravel operations. The permit covers both
stormwater and process water discharges. Process waters are waters from the pit itself or from the processing of
the gravel. Stonnwater is water which runs off the site during a stormevent. The application will assist you in
determine what applies to your site.
