• III IIIIII~IIIIIIIII
u-
Wayne Heitzman
49950E 72 Ave.
Bennett, CO 80102
Division of Minerals aad Geology
1313 Sherman Street
Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
303 -866-3567
RECEIVED
SUN 1 Z zoos
Division of Minerals and Cealoyy
I am writing my comments regarding the application for Regular (112) Construction Materials Operation of
David Lincoln, 5500E 56 Ave. ,Commerce City, CO., 80022
We have lived at 49950E 72 Ave. the past four years. This land is situated directly north of the proposed
mining (Sand and Gravel) operation, bordered by Provost Rd. and 72 Ave. The presem Sand end Gravel
operation was in existance when we located here and we want to state that most people own land for
pleasure and profit, many venues; horses, wheat, hay etc. etc.
David Lincoln and family have been good neighbors to us throughout our short time here. We 6asirally
have but two concems. #1-The extended hours. We feel we are entitled to normal sleep and rest hours,
just as Adams County monitors DIA Etc. as this would be a radical chan~e from thepast and we are
approximately 15 to 20 rods from Provost with a 90 degree turn omo 72 Ave. ,which is about 1D rods
from residence. Consider the slowing or stopping and again the upshifting etc. at night and 1 believe this
allowance will destroy quality of Life for us. #2-Dust control ;which cauldbe a problem tm both sides
for us. We do not like the idea of using Magnesium Chloride for this purpose. As per an article in paper
recently- Denver and Aurora are looking for a less caustic corrosive material than Magnesium Chloride.
This should be a concern for all of us traveling and living adjacentto this problem.
Thanks for the opportunity to express our concerns on this matter:
WayneHeitzman: ~/
49950E 72 Ave. .J
Bennett, CO 80102
T ~9- S
