At this time there is no plan for installing a hot mix plant of a batch
plant at the Christian Pit. Production of such products is done at the main
plant in Colorado Springs. If such would ever come to pass, the changes in
the permit would be sought. Dut at this point in time, as indicated on page
1 of Exhibit U, the direction is away from even stockpiling materials at the
pit, but rather hauling everything to Colorado Springs.
2. At these sites, the most fixed equipment is the scale and it is not really
fixed as it can be moved in a matter of a few hours. Processing equipment is
all portable and is periodically moved to keep the distance between the mining
area and the processing areas as short as possible.
Fully mobile equipment includes loaders, scrapers, and trucks. Moderately mobile
equipment; that is, equipment that is moved periodically to maintain operational
efficiency, includes the scale and the processing equipment.
