III ~II~II~I~~~~I~II ~ OEC ' .1991
999
STATE OF COLORADO
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
303 666-3567
FA X: 303 832-8106
DATE: December 16, 1991
T0: Roland G. Obeying
FROM: James C. Stevens, Reclamation Specialist
RE: File No. M-91-062, Adequacy Items
~OF~Cpy~
ti ij" ~o~
:~$
~ re76 ~
Roy Romer,
Governor
Fretl R. Banta,
Division Director
The following items must be addressed by the applicant in order to s~tttsfy the
applicable requirements of C.R.S. 34-32-101 et seg• and the Mineral Rules and
Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board:
Notice Reouirements: Currently the applicant has not provided proof of
publication of public notice (Rule 3.2<3)<b)(tif).
The applicant has not provided proof of receipt of notices to owners of land
affected (Larry Laughrey) and owners of land within 200 feet of boundaries of
affected land (Rule 3.2(3)(b)<v).
Exhibit B
Item 2: There is no listing of the permanent man-made structures and
their ownership, only reference to locations of such structures on
Maps E-1 and E-2 where land ownership is indicated. Provide narrative
stating that ownership of structures (including sawmill) is tf~e same,
if it is, as the surface ownership indicated on map. (The sawmill
could be owned by Tiger Timber could it not?)
Exhibit C
Item 2: The Division understands from page 2 under this exhit~it that
two inches of topsoil is salvageable, therefore any topsoil t-fo Inches
or thicker will be salvaged and stockpiled for subsequent use. If this
is not intended, please advise.
Item 7: The dimensions of existing access road within the permit area
have not been provided nor those of the road inside and along east
margin of the proposed permit area. Presumably these will be used
during mining and reclamation activities and so should be described in
the narrative. Also include descriptions of any improvements intended
to these roads.
