The additional
information requested in this letter is being assembled and
will be furnished as soon as possible.
The closing statement of this letter and the possibility of
a need to readvertise was of primary concern. You stated
there would be no need to readvertise and that application
77-344 is still scheduled for consideration at the July 26,
1978 Board Meeting.
The closing statement of this letter is as follows: "In
closing I would like to add that the Pvlined Land Reclamation
Board approves plans for life-of-the-mine permits. If areas
exist where mining plans have not been developed, permitting
of these areas should be accomplished under an amendment."
(Emphasis added). You reassured me that this original appli-
cation should include all acreage estimated to be affected
during the life of this quarry operation. We realize a long-
term operation of this nature will involve future amendments
dye to the many contingencies,and_the oQera_tor's inability to
furnish meaningful plans beyond a few years. We have, however,
made an attempt to furnish as much information and description
of the entire future quarry area as is currently anticipated.
To us it seems the time for future amendments will be most
evident from routine inspections and surety changes. This is
the reason land to be affected beyond about 1980 was separate-
ly designated and referenced. +,~~~~
Sincerely, Rf~f~=s,.
