The County, as
the mine operator has no preference with regard to this
recommendation but would like your input. From the
County's standpoint the critical factor is time. This
item is scheduled for consideration by the Division's
Board on May 23, 1990 and the request was received by
this Department today, without any prior notice. An
immediate response is imperative so further delays are
not caused in the issuance of a Mined Land Reclamation
Division permit for this project.
Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation in
this matter.
Sincerely, f~~~
Marshall Butler
Assistant Planning Director
M:B/lr
Attachment: M.L.R.D. letter of 5/14/90
