Should extraneous
lines be required for nd by the operation of Trinidad Basin
Mining, the power poles that are constructed shall be con-
structed with elevated perches with minimum standards as shown
on the attached exhibit and as recommended in the "Suggested
Practices For Raptor Protection On Powerlines".
This perch type construction should adequately protect all
large birds from accidental electrocution. Where transformer
banks are necessary they should be placed on a lower cross arm
thus leaving the top cross arm with the perch above it clear.
Covered jumpers shall be used wherever practical.
If there are any questions or if you find this unsatisfactory,
please contact this office.
Sincerely,
INC.
BTQ/dn
xc: Trinidad Basin Mining
Attachment
~iiiiii~iiiiiiu~ii
P.
