The gravel pit has <br />existing high walls of approximately seventy-five to one hundred feet. <br />The collapse of these high walls has the potential of affecting adjacent <br />public lands. <br />MY understanding is that you have spoken with Bob Kershaw, San Juan <br />Resource Area Geologist, about this matter and have made arrangements for <br />a State representative to conduct an inspection of the operation site.
